20-Minute Yoga Class For Shoulder Flexibility

Think about it. How many times throughout your day, do you find yourself raising your arms over your head? How about reaching your arms back? I’m going to go ahead and say not very often, unless you’re in a well-balanced yoga class.

Most of the time, we reach our arms forward or down by the sides in order to perform day-to-day activities such as typing, texting, reading, or carrying things around, etc. We tend to move in very habitual ways so it’s important that we take the initiative to move our bodies in non-habitual ways to prevent repetitive stress injuries and lack of range of motion.
