Hey, I'm Argentina
I tried yoga for the first time back in high school, not long after I moved to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic. Everything felt new. New school, new language, new friends, new weather. New everything. Life was overwhelming, and being the shy one in every room didn’t make things any easier. The anxiety and stress were real.
Yoga quickly became a refuge. It was the one place where I felt grounded and present, and I kept coming back to that feeling. Over the years my practice ebbed and flowed, but as I grew older, it became a steady, meaningful part of my life.
In 2015, I completed my yoga teacher training and soon became a full-time instructor—teaching in one of the most diverse places in the world, New York City. Guiding classes filled with people of every background showed me one thing very clearly:
Yoga is for everyone.
You read that in books and quotes, but witnessing it unfold in real life hits differently.
A few years later, I was introduced to Yoga Nidra, and wow. The feeling was unlike anything I had experienced: light, spacious, deeply present. I knew right away that I wanted to share it. I completed my certification and began weaving Yoga Nidra into everything I offered, retreats, YouTube, workshops, and more. Before long, it became the heart of my teaching.
Everyone has a unique story about how yoga first found them.
What was yours?

- I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in Boston, and lived in New York for ten years. Most people can’t tell where my accent comes from and I think it’s hilarious. Go ahead, ask me: Red Sox or Yankees?
- I come from a family of coffee farmers, so I’m a snob when it comes to coffee. I like mine strong, black, and full of flavor. The best coffee I’ve had was in Cartagena, Colombia.
- Sometimes people find me online because they’re searching for stuff in “Argentina” lol.
- I love dogs. Duh!!!
