This guided Yoga Nidra meditation is designed to support heart healing, helping you gently release emotional tension, soften protective layers, and reconnect with a deeper sense of compassion and inner peace.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, guarded, heartbroken, or disconnected, this practice offers a safe space to rest, feel, and restore. Through the deeply relaxing practice of Yoga Nidra (often called yogic sleep), your body is guided into a state of conscious rest where healing can naturally unfold.
What Are the Chakras?
In yogic philosophy, the chakras are energy centers within the body that influence our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. There are seven main chakras that run along the spine, each associated with different aspects of our human experience, from safety and stability to intuition and connection.
When energy flows freely through these centers, we tend to feel more balanced and at ease. When there’s blockage or imbalance, it can show up as physical tension, emotional patterns, or mental stress.
The Heart Chakra (Anahata)
The heart chakra, also known as Anahata, is located at the center of the chest and is associated with love, compassion, forgiveness, and connection, both with others and with yourself.
- When the heart chakra is balanced, you may feel open, loving, and able to give and receive with ease. When it’s blocked or guarded, it can show up as:
- Difficulty trusting or opening up
- Emotional pain, grief, or lingering heartbreak
- Self-criticism or lack of self-love
- Feeling disconnected or closed off
This Yoga Nidra practice is designed to gently support the process of softening, releasing, and reconnecting with the heart space, without force, pressure, or overwhelm.
